Exclusive | Khushbu Sundar explains her recent physical transformation

Actor Khushbu Sundar underwent a significant physical transformation in the recent past. Photographs of her transformed self went viral, but it also caused many negativity from a section of people on the internet. Some alleged that she used cosmetic injections for the transformation, whereas others even claimed that the photographs were not real but rather AI-generated. Khushbu vociferously hit back at some of the trolls against her weight loss journey. Recently, the actor-politician spoke to CE about the same.

Khushbu said that she took the extra effort to reduce her weight to ensure that she would steer herself clear of age-related health issues, such as high blood pressure and blood sugar. "Both are ticking time bombs," she said before revealing that her mother has hypertension. She attributed her transformation to her being wary of the possibility of the condition being passed down from her predecessor.

The actor also revealed that her weight reached a point at one stage of her life that made it difficult for her to move about freely, without panting or her knees getting hurt. "I once got scared at seeing my own face," Khushbu Sundar said before revealing that she started her weight loss journey at her doctor's advise during the COVID period. "I started reducing my weight bit by little bit at that time itself. It took me four years to cut it down to this level," she said.

Interestingly, she also revealed that during her weight loss journey, she discovered that she has gluten intolerance as well. "If I eat maida or chapati, there would be swelling in my body," she disclosed.

While the initial photographs of the actor after her transformation spurred some negativity from netizens, the details about her journey are sure to inspire some.
