Yogi Babu's next titled Arjunan Per Paththu; first look out

The film is written and directed by R Rajmohan and also stars Kaali Venkat, Anamika, Myna Nandhini, Sendrayan and more

On Thursday, on the occasion of New Year, actor Vijay Sethupathi unveiled the first-look poster and title of Yogi Babu's next. Titled Arjunan Per Paththu, the poster features the comedian in a serious look along with a mini-truck in the background. The film is written and directed by R Rajmohan.

The film is backed by Kiruthiga Thangapandi S and Thangapandi D under the Dhev Cinemas banner. The film marks Yogi Babu's 300th outing. Arjunan Per Paththu will also star Kaali Venkat, Arul Doss, Myna Nandhini, Sendrayan, Aruvi-fame Madhan, Soundarya, Senthil Rayan, Hello Kandasamy, Bhava Lakshmanan, Lenin Bharathi, Ranjan Kumar and Subramaniam Shiva, among others.

As per a press note, the film will focus on scams involved in the sale of used vehicles, the pain and suffering of people affected by such frauds, and will aim to create awareness among the general public who are planning to buy second-hand vehicles.

Arjunan Per Paththu will feature music composed by D Imman, camera work by Pratheep Kaliraja, editing by Kasi Viswanathan, dialogues by MR Arun Chandar, and lyrics by Karthik Netha. The entire shooting of the film has been completed in and around Chennai. Currently in post-production, a release date for the film is yet to be announced.

Last seen in Mark in Kannada, Yogi Babu has Moon Walk, Karuppu and Jailer 2 in the pipeline as a supporting character in Tamil. As the lead, he is working on Ravi Mohan's directorial debut, An Ordinary Man, and also has Medical Miracle coming up. Apart from these films in Tamil, the actor is also working on Atlee and Allu Arjun's AA22xA6 and gearing up for the release of Prabhas' The Raja Saab on January 9.
