Earlier, we reported about GV Prakash starring opposite Madhuri Jain in a romance film titled Mental Manadhil, directed by Selvaraghavan. The film brings GV Prakash back together with Selvaraghavan for the first time after 2011's Mayakkam Enna, where the former served as a composer. Earlier today, the makers of the film dropped a new poster, which offers a first look at Madhuri Jain's character in it. The poster shows GV Prakash's character lifting Madhuri's heroine even as they are drenched in rain.

With the poster, the makers wished everyone a happy Valentine's Day and announced that the first song from the film will release soon. Besides starring in Mental Manadhil, GV Prakash serves as its composer as well.

The music director also worked with the director on 2010's Aayirathil Oruvan, where he came in as a replacement for Yuvan Shankar Raja. "For all of you who loved our work in Aayirathil Oruvan and Mayakkam Enna - there's more in Mental Manadhil," the actor-composer wrote earlier today.

Prakash added that he is delighted to reunite with director Selvaraghavan after a 15-year gap. Unlike their previous collaborations, the upcoming film marks his first role as an actor in a Selvaraghavan directorial. He is also backing it under the banner Parallel Universe Production House.

It also brings Selvaraghavan back to a complete romance zone after 2004's 7G Rainbow Colony and 2007's Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule, which has a Tamil remake titled Yaaradi Nee Mohini. The filmmaker has a sequel to 7G Rainbow Colony in the pipeline as well.

The makers are yet to announce the rest of the cast for Mental Manadhil. Meanwhile, GV Prakash's upcoming films as an actor include Adangathey, Idimuzhakkam, Immortal, and Happy Raj, among others.
