A new single titled 'Vaan Vaan' from Atharvaa's upcoming film Idhayam Murali has been dropped by the makers on Friday. Composed by Thaman S, the romantic song sees the relationship between the actor and female lead Kayadu Lohar blossoming into a classic love story. Sung by Mohit Chauhan, the song has lyrics by Vivek.

Besides Atharvaa and Kayadu, the film also stars Thaman (in his first film role as an actor after Shankar's Boys), Natty, Preity Mukundhan, Pragya, Angeline, and Yashashree. The cast also includes Sudhakar and Dravid from the Parithabangal YouTube channel and content creator Niharika NM. It was recently announced that noted actor Fahadh Faasil will also be seen in the movie.

Behind the screen, the film is directed by Aakash Baskaran in his debut, with Senthilkumar Kesavan credited as a co-director. Aakash has written the dialogues with Dravid and Ramanagirivasan. The rest of the technical crew includes cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa and editor Pradeep E Ragav.

Idhayam Murali's director, Aakash Baskaran, is also producing the film under his Dawn Pictures, the banner which produced Idly Kadai and the recently released Parasakthi.

On the technical front, the film has music by Thaman S, cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa, editing by Pradeep E Ragav, costumes by Pallavi Singh, and Karthik Rajkumar. Dravid Selvam also doubles up as the film's additional dialogues writer, alongside Aakash Baskaran.

The makers are yet to announce a specific release date for Idhayam Murali, although it is tentatively slated for the summer. Netflix holds the rights to stream it post the theatrical release.
