Positive reviews have been pouring in for Lokesh Kanagaraj as well as Arun Matheswaran for their latest film DC ever since its release on Friday. Word-of-mouth reviews have been strong for the actioner and it has already earned close to Rs 5 crore on its first day.

Producer Soundarya Rajinikanth has now heaped praise on the movie, calling it an "impeccably crafted film". She also appreciated Lokesh Kanagaraj's performance, describing it as a "powerful debut". In her Instagram post, she wrote, "What an impeccably crafted film. Technically, artistically and cinematically absolutely top-notch. Huge congratulations to Arun Matheswaran and Mukesh Gnanesh… outstanding work! Wamiqa Gabbi, you were fantastic. And what a powerful, brutal debut as a hero, dear Lokesh Kanagaraj."

She reserved her special words for composer Anirudh and his music. "To my brother, the original rockstar Anirudh, brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! Congratulations to the entire cast & crew and Sun Pictures," she added.

Besides Lokesh, Wamiqa Gabbi and Sanjana Krishnamoorthy play female leads.
