Allu Arjun has multiple projects with much anticipation and excitement around these, including one with filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film with Lokesh is tentatively titled AA23. The specifics regarding the story of AA23 remain under wraps. However, a source close to the production has revealed some news that are expected to excite Allu Arjun fans around the world.

It has been revealed that the upcoming film will feature the Happy, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Pushpa star in a never-seen-before avatar. The source disclosed, "Allu Arjun will have a completely different and unique look in AA23 with Lokesh Kanagaraj. Both AA and Lokesh have spent a lot of time in researching and exploring different looks, as they are known for pushing boundaries and bringing their characters to life with complete conviction."

Explaining the thinking behind the actor's look, the source added, "They wanted to make sure this look feels fresh and unlike anything audiences have seen from Allu Arjun before and at the same time truly represent the character they want to showcase. AA23 is set to surprise the audience in a big way and this look is going to become iconic."

According to reports, the upcoming project has a massive budget as well as superhero cinema and science fiction elements. Recently, writer Rathna Kumar told Little Talks, "We have already started working on the script for the Lokesh Kanagaraj and Allu Arjun film."

The film is set to be produced by Mythri Movie Makers, and it has Anirudh as its composer. It reunites Anirudh with director Lokesh after collaborations on films such as Master (2021), Vikram (2022), Leo (2023), and Coolie (2025).

Allu Arjun's upcoming films also include Raaka with director Atlee. On the other hand, Lokesh is awaiting the August 07 release of DC, directed by Arun Matheswaran of Captain Miller fame and co-starring Wamiqa Gabbi.
