This Wednesday marks Allu Arjun's birthday, and wishes are pouring in from different parts of the Indian film industry for the superstar. One of the film personalities to wish him on his birthday is Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Taking to X, Lokesh wrote, "Wishing my hero Allu Arjun sir a very happy birthday. Super excited about the #AA23 #LK7 journey ahead with you sir. Can’t wait to go on floors and make it an unforgettable one for both of us." The filmmaker's post comes not long after the actor wished him on his birthday while sharing excitement for the upcoming project.
Earlier this Wednesday, Lokesh also shared a photograph featuring him with the Pushpa star that looks similar to one featuring him and his Master and Leo star Vijay. Fans have been noticing the resemblance, with some of them saying that he intentionally recreated the same pose with Vijay now with the Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo star.
Reportedly, Lokesh is set to direct a big-budget film blending elements of science fiction and superhero cinema that stars Allu Arjun in the lead role. Producer Mythri Movie Makers is also attached to the project, as is composer Anirudh.
The film will mark the 23rd project and the 7th film in Allu Arjun and Lokesh's careers, respectively. The upcoming collaboration is set to happen when Lokesh Kanagaraj and Allu Arjun are at interesting stages of their careers. The filmmaker is coming off the back of the blockbuster success of Coolie, starring Rajinikanth, but the film also earned plenty of criticism from the audience. On the other hand, Allu Arjun was last seen in the blockbuster Pushpa 2: The Rule.
The actor also has a film with Atlee in the pipeline. Earlier today, the makers of the film announced Raaka as its title.
