It is well known that Dhanush is awaiting the release of his period action drama Kara, directed by Por Thozhil-fame Vignesh Raja. The actor, who has been travelling across Tamil Nadu and Hyderabad for promoting the film, recently expressed massive confidence on Kara and director Vignesh Raja.

In a pre-release event, the actor said Kara belongs to people and their issues and heaped praise on the movie. "Don't look at it as a film acted by me or directed by Vignesh Raja. This is your film. When you watch it, you will understand why I said so. It addresses people's problems in the right way. This is for the people. It will be in the entertaining space, but won't be preachy. Kara will be a high-octane thriller," he explained.
