The polling day is here at the Tamil Nadu Election 2026, and many celebrities showed up in their respective constituencies to cast their votes and urged the public to do the same. For example, actor Ajith Kumar voted at Thiruvanmiyur. Meanwhile, there have been reports doing the rounds suggesting that Ajith said that there is no requirement for a change in the ruling government. However, Ajith's manager Suresh Chandra denied this claim, according to multiple reports.

When Ajith Kumar came to cast his vote at a polling booth in Thiruvanmiyur, there was a massive crowd around him, vying for his attention. At one point, the actor appeared to get a tad irritated by the hullabaloo and took his phone out and started capturing a video of his fans. Subsequently, the actor posed for pictures by raising his voting finger.

The speculation about Ajith supporting the DMK in the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections is doing the rounds at a time when his contemporary in the film industry, Vijay is contesting for CM in two constituencies: Perambur and Tiruchirappalli East.

On the film front, Ajith was last seen in Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, which hit theatres in April last year. Since then, the actor has been busy with his motorsport commitments. After his racing commitments, he is set to come back together with Adhik Ravichandran for another film.
