On Monday, we reported about Ajith Kumar's eponymous racing team finishing second at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, part of the 24H Series, in Belgium. Fans and those from the film fraternity have since been congratulating Ajith and his team on the achievement. The latest to do so is Sriman, actor and TVK chief Vijay's friend and frequent collaborator, who has also starred with Ajith on multiple films.
Taking to X, Sriman shared a photograph of Ajith Kumar Racing and wrote, "God bless you and your team Ajith bro, team work always wins, keep rocking as an actor as an Indian. I’m very proud of you. Jai Hind."
The second spot finish adds to the recent achievements of Ajith Kumar Racing. For example, recently, the team finished third at the Dubai 24H Endurance Race, and Ajith won the Gentleman Driver of the Year 2025 award from the Philippe Sariel Motorsport Group.
Coming back to Sriman, the actor has starred with Ajith on films such as Dheena, Aegan, and Billa II. He starred as an auto rickshaw driver in Dheena, a film that proved a big turning point in Ajith's career, establishing him as an action hero and earning him the nickname 'Thala'. Ajith has since asked fans not to venerate him by calling such nicknames.
He is set to collaborate with his Good Bad Ugly filmmaker Adhik Ravichandran after his racing commitments. Meanwhile, his 1999 film Amarkalam, co-starring Shalini, is set for a rerelease later this April.
