Previously, we reported that the official X handle of the production house, Studio Green, had been compromised. On Saturday, the team announced on X that their page has been officially restored. In their X post, the production banner wrote, "We’re back. The account is fully restored. We sincerely thank #X for the support."

On Friday, when the Studio Green account was searched for on X, the name of the handle read Warpower Iran with the username @Iranforcestudio. The account was also flooded with posts on the ongoing war.

Following this, the production banner let out a statement that read, "Our official X (Twitter) account, @StudioGreen2, has been compromised by unauthorised third parties. We are currently working with the platform to regain access. Any recent posts related to political content, war updates, or unrelated information are NOT from our team and do not reflect our views or activities. We are a film production company focused solely on creative and entertainment content, and we remain completely apolitical. or unrelated information are NOT from our team and do not reflect our views or activities. Please ignore any suspicious posts, links, or messages coming from that account until further notice. We will update once the account is secured."

Founded by KE Gnanavel Raja, Studio Green started their production journey with Sillunu Oru Kaadhal in 2006. Some of their popular productions include Paruthiveeran, Singam, Madras, Indru Netru Naalai, Pathu Thala, Thangalaan and Kanguva. Their most recent production was the Karthi-starrer, Vaa Vaathiyaar.

The studio has also found itself amidst controversy a number of times in the past. The most talked-about row is surrounding Paruthiveeran. For the unversed, the controversy revolves around Ameer and his faction alleging that Studio Green's Gnanavelraja refused to fund money for the film midway and that he put in the money to complete the film. However, Gnanavelraja is credited as the producer. So, Ameer has filed a case against the producer seeking proper compensation and rights for the film. This case has been going on in court for more than a decade now.
