As they promised on Wednesday, the makers of Once More dropped its next single, titled 'Indra', at 5:00 pm this Friday. A soulful and soothing melody, 'Indra' serves as a love song for the couple played by Arjun Das and Sona Olickal in the movie. It is worth noting that Sona plays a character named Indra in the movie. Writer-director Vignesh Srikanth's film also stars Aditi Shankar in an important role.
Judging by the recent promotional materials related to the film, its story appears to follow a youngster (Arjun Das) who falls in love once again after his first attempt at romance. The recent teaser, introducing Sona's character in the movie, makes references to films such as Autograph and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, where the heroes do not end up getting the girls whom they pursue.
Coming back to 'Indra', the song starts with Malayalam lyrics, because Sona plays a Keralite in the movie, and then transitions into Tamil. It is sung by Hanan Shaah from a composition by Hesham Abdul Wahab and based on the lyrics by Vignesh Srikanth in Tamil and Arun Alat in Malayalam. The chorus singers include Hesham Abdul Wahab himself, Angel Mary Joseph, Dr Malavika, Anna Maerin Easo, Dhana, and Zia. "The monsoon of Malayalam showering the melody of Tamil," wrote producer Million Dollar Studios as they dropped the song on X.
Produced by Yuvaraj Ganesan under the Million Dollar Studios banner, Once More is slated for a summer 2026 release. On the technical front, the movie also has cinematographer Aravind Viswanathan, editor Nash, choreographer Apsar, and costume designer Navadevi Rajkumar.
