Rajkumar Periyasamy's Amaran (2024) gave him widespread praise for his performance as Major Mukund Varadarajan. Madharaasi, which was released last week, has also been gaining positive reviews from fans and critics. The film also stars Vidyut Jammwal as the antagonist, Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead, Biju Menon, Vikranth and Shabeer Kallarakkal in key roles.

This year, he presented House Mates, a fantasy horror film from T Raja Vel which starred Darshan and Kaali Venkat in lead roles. All the films were critically and commercially well-received.
