Tourist Family director Abishan Jeevinth ties the knot

Abishan Jeevinth previously proposed marriage to his long-time girlfriend, Akkila, at the Tourist Family pre-release event in April

Back in April, ahead of the release of Tourist Family, at the film's pre-release event, debutant director Abishan Jeevinth proposed marriage to his long-time girlfriend Akkila and expressed his gratitude to her for staying patient to achieve his dream. On Friday, Abishan and Akkila tied the knot in Chennai.

The wedding took place at Hanu Reddy Boathouse Garden in Chennai, in the presence of close friends and family. Prior to the wedding, a grand reception was held on Thursday at the Green Park Hotel. Many noted names from the Tamil film industry, including Sasikumar, Sivakarthikeyan, MS Bhaskar, Ramesh Thilak, Simran, Anaswara Rajan, producers Rajasekar Karpurasundarapandian (2D Entertainment), Soundarya Rajinikanth, Mahesh Raj Basilian, Arun Vishwa, and Shineesh, were in attendance.Abishan

Additionally, directors Poo Sasi, Ranjith Jayakodi, Shanmugapriyan (Love Marriage), Prabhu Ram Vyas (Lover), and Madhan; music composer Sean Roldan; lyricist Mohanraj; and editors Bharath Ram, Think Music Santhosh, and JioHotstar’s Sabari were also present.

After debuting as a director, Abishan, who played a small role in Tourist Family, is set to make his full-fledged acting debut with a film directed by Madhan. Anaswara Rajan is starring alongside Abishan in the film. Soundarya Rajinikanth and MRP Entertainment are presenting the film, while Pasilian Nazerath and Magesh Raj Pasilian are producing it. The film has Shreyaas Krishna as the cinematographer and Sean Roldan as its composer. Netflix has bagged the post-theatrical digital rights of the film.
