Earlier, we reported about Tourist Family director Abishan Jeevinth playing a lead role in an upcoming film alongside Rekhachithram star Anaswara Rajan. Earlier today, the two actors engaged in some fun banter on Instagram, sharing each other's photographs from the shooting location. Abishan shared a photograph of Anaswara posing in front of the Tiruchirappalli Junction railway station. He captioned the post, asking Anaswara whether she is Trichy's brand ambassador. In reply, the actor wrote, "Gladly accepting the offer from Trichy's very own PR." She also shared a photograph of Abishan and their film's director Madhan, describing them as her "Trichy tour guides".
Soundarya Rajinikanth is presenting the film alongside MRP Entertainment, whereas Pasilian Nazerath and Magesh Raj Pasilian are producing it.
Cinematographer Shreyaas Krishna, known for his work in Karthik Subburaj-Suriya's Retro, is part of the film's technical team, alongside composer Sean Roldan (Velailla Pattadhaari 2).
The film reunites Sean Roldan with Soundarya Rajinikanth after Velailla Pattadhaari 2 and with Abishan after Tourist Family. It does not mark Anaswara's debut in Tamil cinema. She is part of the cast of 7G Rainbow Colony 2, where she will make her Tamil debut. Selvaraghavan's sequel to his own 2004 film brings back the original's actor Ravi Krishna.
