Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dude is showing no signs of slowing down at the box office. After a solid opening, the film maintained its momentum on Saturday, collecting an estimated Rs 10 crore on its second day, according to Sacnilk.com. With this, Dude’s total collection now stands at Rs 19.75 crore in India.

While Tamil Nadu remains the film’s biggest market, with Rs 7.25 crore coming from the region on Saturday, the Telugu version contributed another Rs 2.75 crore. The film’s footfall stayed strong across key territories like Chennai, Trichy, and Coimbatore, while metro regions such as Mumbai and NCR also saw steady occupancy.

The slight 2.56 per cent growth from Friday indicates strong word of mouth and continued audience interest despite competition from Bison and Diesel. The festive weekend is expected to give Dude a further push in collections, potentially helping it cross a major milestone by Sunday.

Our CE review of the film read, "Dude has a wacky infectious energy and uses it to make hard-hitting commentary on social themes but fails to leave a lasting impact."

Directed by debutant Keerthiswaran, Dude stars Pradeep Ranganathan alongside Mamitha Baiju, Sarath Kumar, Hridhu Haroon, Rohini, and Aishwarya Sharma. Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers, the film features music by Sai Abhyankkar in his Tamil cinema debut.
