Actor and Bigg Boss Tamil-fame Samyuktha Shanmuganathan has tied the knot with former cricketer Aniruda Srikkanth. The couple, who have been together for many months now, married in an intimate ceremony in the presence of close friends and family members. Pictures of their wedding ceremony, posted by the couple as well as close family members, have gone viral on social media.

Rumours of Samyuktha and Aniruda's relationship began after she posted pictures with him during the festive occasion of Diwali this year. Aniruda is the son of veteran cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth. Aniruddha has played for Chennai Super Kings (between 2008-2013) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (2014) in the Indian Premiere League. He is known for being an attacking batsman and is currently a sports commentator and YouTuber. He was formerly married to a model, Arthi Venkatesh.

Samyuktha was also previously married to Karthik Shankar. She completed her divorce procedures earlier this year and shared pictures to celebrate the same, garnering support from friends and industry colleagues.

Samyuktha, known for her stint in the fourth season of Bigg Boss Tamil, hosted by Kamal Haasan at the time, was last seen in Madharas Mafia Company which released on November 14. The film, directed by AS Mukundhan, starred Anandaraj in the lead along with Aaradhya, Deepa Shankar and Munishkanth in key roles.
