During promotions for her upcoming film Revolver Rita, Keerthy Suresh reflected on personal growth and the evolving nature of an actor’s journey.
Speaking to Suryan FM, the actor recalled a conversation with Dhanush that left a lasting impression on her. “I once asked Dhanush sir, to write a book about his experience in Hollywood and Bollywood,” she said. “He told me, ‘If I write a book, Keerthy, it will mean that I have achieved everything there is to achieve in life, no?’ When an actor as successful and experienced as him says that, it puts everything into perspective. I feel like I have only just begun. I am learning every single day. Evolving is part of the journey, especially when it comes from learning from your mistakes.”
Keerthy Suresh shared the screen with Dhanush in the 2016 film, Thodari, helmed by Prabhu Solomon.
Keerthy’s words come as she awaits the release of Revolver Rita, a dark comedy action film directed by JK Chandru. The film has completed its censorship formalities and is set to hit theatres on November 28 with a U/A 16+ certificate.
Marking Chandru’s return to direction after Naveena Saraswathi Sabatham (2013), the film stars Keerthy alongside Radikaa Sarathkumar, Redin Kingsley, Mime Gopi, Sendrayan and veteran stunt master Super Subbarayan.
Backed by producers Sudhan Sundaram and Jagadish Palanisamy, the film features cinematography by Dinesh Krishnan B, editing by Praveen KL and production design by Vinoth Rajkumar, with Aishwarya Suresh serving as creative producer. After its theatrical run, Revolver Rita is set to stream on Netflix.
