Kavin and Andrea Jeremiah's Mask is maintaining its momentum at the box office. After opening with Rs 1.15 crore on Friday, the Vikarnan Ashok directorial showed a steady rise on Saturday. According to early estimates from Sacnilk.com, the film earned Rs 1.3 crore on day 2, taking its two-day India net total to Rs 2.45 crore.

The heist drama, also starring Ruhani Sharma, faced competition from multiple new releases, including Middle Class, Theeyavar Kulai Nadunga, Sisu: Road to Revenge, and Wicked: For Good. Despite the crowded slate, Mask has managed to hold its ground, especially in Tamil Nadu, where it continues to draw a consistent audience. The project also has filmmaker Vetri Maaran associated with it as a mentor, adding to the film’s visibility.

On Saturday, Mask recorded an overall Tamil occupancy of 25.65%, with the turnout growing stronger as the day progressed. The morning shows saw a modest start, but footfall picked up through the afternoon and evening, eventually touching 34.58% in night shows. Chennai remained the film’s most reliable market with 38% occupancy across 250 shows, while Pondicherry, Vellore and Dindigul also registered healthy numbers. Bengaluru, Coimbatore and Madurai reported moderate but stable occupancy, indicating steady interest outside the core Tamil belt as well. In other metros, Mumbai logged 21.5% occupancy, while the NCR region recorded around 9.5%.

CE's review for the film reads, "Morality. In today’s time and age, is there a place for absolutism? Probably why, in a world filled with morally grey people, the ones who manage to err on the side of caution are seen as good people. After all, it is all about what you do when no one is watching and there aren’t any consequences to your actions, right? This is the core theme of debutant director Vikarnan Ashok’s Mask, which guises a story of right, wrong, and everything in between under the garb of a money heist that is too much style and, unfortunately, not enough substance."
