Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja to sing along in Kombuseevi

The makers are planning to release the film in December

The father-son duo of Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja has delivered several memorable songs over the years. But for the first time, the two are singing together, and it is happening in director Ponram's Kombuseevi.

The makers have dropped the pictures at the studio of Ilaiyaraaja-Yuvan along with the Kombuseevi team.

The emotional song that begins with the lines, "Amma en thangakani, neethane ellam ini, thaalattum paatti ingae yaar solvaar," was penned by lyricist Pa Vijay.

Ponram, who has made Varutha Padatha Valibar Sangam, Rajini Murugan, and DSP, is collaborating with actor Shanmuga Pandian Vijayakanth for the first time. The rest of the star cast of Kombuseevi comprises also stars Kaali Venkat, Kalki Raja, and Tharnika in supporting roles. In addition to Yuvan Shankar Raja, the film's technical front has cinematographer Balasubramaniem, editor Dinesh Ponnuraj, action choreographers Phoenix Prabhu and Saravana Sakthi.

The makers are planning to release the film in December.
