After revealing that he is set to marry Sai Dhanshika at the recent trailer launch of the latter's film Yogi Da, Vishal dropped the trailer for the film through social media on Saturday. The long-gestated film stars Sai Dhanshika as a police officer, supposedly on a mission to oust corruption in her town. For the uninitiated, the title Yogi Da is a nod to Sai Dhanshika's character in the Rajinikanth-Pa Ranjith film Kabali, and she sports a similar hairstyle. The trailer shows her character bashing up goons in different ways, including with a football. Towards the end of the trailer, there is a visual of the character clad in police uniform lighting up a cigarette and sitting on a chair in the 'figure four lock' position. It ends with a voiceover from the character, announcing herself as 'ketta ponnu', which roughly translates as a 'bad*** woman'.

Yogi Da is written and directed by Goutham Krishna, as well as produced by V Senthil Kumar under the Sri Monica Cine Films banner. The film also stars Sayaji Shinde and Kabir Duhan Singh. On the technical front, it has cinematography by S KA Boopathi, editing by G Sasikumar, stunts by G Ganesh Kumar, music by Deepak Dev, and music and songs by Jayanthi Ashwamithra.

Yogi Da is yet to have a release date; as per the trailer, it is set to hit theatres soon.
