The second single from Vijay Sethupathi’s Ace, ‘Ace Anthem’, was unveiled on Tuesday. Composed by Justin Prabhakaran, the track is a hype song for the protagonist, an ace card player. Ratty Adhiththan has both rendered the song and penned the verses for it.

Ace is directed by Arumugakumar, who has previously helmed Vijay Sethupathi’s Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren. Rukmini Vasanth of Sapta Saagaradaache Ello fame is all set to make her Tamil debut with the upcoming film. She will be seen as the female lead alongside Vijay Sethupathi.

Ace also stars Yogi Babu, Divya Pillai, Babloo Prithveeraj, BS Avinash, Muthu Kumar, Raj Kumar, Denes Kumar, Alvin Martin, Priscilla Nair, Jasper Supayah, Kaarthick Jay, Nagulan, and Zahrinaris.

Arumugakumar has also produced Ace under his banner, 7CS Entertainment. Touted to be an out-and-out commercial entertainer, the film, which has been shot extensively in Malaysia, is expected to have a blend of romance, action, comedy, and sentiment in its story. On the technical team, Ace has music composed by Justin Prabhakaran, cinematography by Karan Bahadur Rawat, and editing by Fenny Oliver.

Ace is all set to hit theatres on May 23.
