We had earlier reported that actor Vemal will be seen playing the lead in Paramasivan Fathima. The makers shared a trailer update of the film on Thursday.

In an official post, the makers revealed that the trailer of the film will be unveiled at 4 PM on Friday by Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) convenor Seeman and TN BJP president K Annamalai.

The makers, while announcing the film, said the story will explore the religious divisions between two communities.

The film is directed by Esakki Karvannan, who has previously made Tamil Kudimagan (2023), Pettikadai (2019), and Pagiri (2016). "The film depicts the lives of two communities from a hill village who are affected by the diktats of their respective religions. The film explores, in an engaging and non-preachy manner, how communal strife impacts the lives of the people in these communities," the makers say.

Paramasivan Fathima features an ensemble cast of Vemal in the lead role, with Chayadevi playing the female lead and MS Bhaskar, Manoj Kumar, Sri Ranjani, Athira, Aruldoss, Cool Suresh, Kadhal Sukumar, Veerasamar, and others in other crucial roles.

The film's technical crew comprises cinematographer Myna Sukumar and music composer Deepan Chakravarthy. Esakki has also written the script of the film, produced by Lakshmi Creations. The film's final leg of shooting is underway. Film posters and merchandise
