Vijay Sethupathi’s latest theatrical outing, the romantic crime comedy Ace, is now available to stream on Prime Video. The film, helmed by Arumuga Kumar, premiered on the streamer on Friday. Also starring Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead, the film hit theatres on May 23 and opened to largely positive reviews.

Ace also stars Yogi Babu, BS Avinash, Divya Pillai, Babloo Prithiveeraj, and Ramesh Thilak in supporting roles. In the film, Vijay Sethupathi plays Kannan. Desperate for a fresh start, Kannan's foreign dreams turn deadly when a daring heist pulls him into a treacherous underworld.

An excerpt from CE’s review of Ace reads, “There is something alluring about Vijay Sethupathi doing romance, especially when he is asked to just be stoic and let his eyes do all the talking. There are just intense stares with a hint of a smile here and a semblance of a laugh there.”

Arumuga Kumar has previously helmed Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren, which also stars Vijay Sethupathi. The technical crew of Ace comprises composer Sam CS, cinematographer Karan B Rawat, and editor Fenny Goa.
