Atharvaa is on a quest for justice in the gripping trailer of DNA, directed by Nelson Venkatesan. Unveiled on Wednesday, the trailer introduces Atharvaa as a young man whose life takes a dramatic turn after marrying Divya, played by Nimisha Sajayan.

Divya, who appears to be struggling with a mental health condition, ties the knot with Atharvaa, who is heartbroken, and later becomes pregnant. Following the birth of their child, a crisis unfolds. Diagnosed with postpartum psychosis, Divya finds herself disbelieved and dismissed by those around her. As suspicion and stigma mount, Atharvaa sets out to uncover the truth and clear her name.

In an erstwhile previous with CE, Nelson Venkatesan shared that DNA is a drama with crime-action as its sub-genre. Further, he said, "I will always play to my strengths, which include powerful characters, good writing and solid emotions. Additionally, this film will have ample stunts and songs."

DNA will also star Ramesh Thilak and Balaji Sakthivel, along with Viji Chandrasekar, Chetan, Riythvika KP, Subramanian Siva, Karunakaran and Pasanga Sivakumar.

Athisha Vino has co-written the script of DNA with Nelson. The technical crew includes cinematographer Parthiban and editor VJ Sabu Joseph. Singers Sathyaprakash, Sreekanth Hariharan, Pravin Saivi, Sahi Siva and Anal Akash have composed various songs in the film. The upcoming film is backed by Jayanthi Ambethkumar and Ambethkumar under their Olympia Movies banner.

DNA is all set to hit theatres on June 20.
