Sai Abhyankkar joins Anirudh for peppy first single 'Salambala' from Sivakarthikeyan's Madharaasi

A new fun-filled promo was also unveiled by the makers featuring AR Murugadoss, Sivakarthikeyan and Anirudh, along with lyricist Super Subu

Get ready for an unexpected collaboration. Internet sensation Sai Abhyankkar has lent his vocals for Sivakarthikeyan's Madharaasi first single in Anirudh's music. The duo joining hands for the song was first hinted two days ago as the makers released a poster of Anirudh which featured Sai Abhyankkar in the backdrop in one of the TVs. A new fun-filled promo was also unveiled by the makers where AR Murugadoss, Sivakarthikeyan and Anirudh, along with lyricist Super Subu were seen jamming and brainstorming for 'Salambala'. Going by the visuals, the song hints at a vibrant and a peppy dance number. The full single will be released on July 31 at 6 pm.

Madharaasi is described as a "massive action" film. The film also stars Rukmini Vasanth, Vikranth, Vidyut Jammwal, Shabeer Kallarakkal, and Biju Menon in prominent roles.

Produced under the Sri Lakshmi Movies banner, the film's technical crew also includes cinematographer Sudeep Elamon, and editor A Sreekar. The plot details for the film have not been disclosed. Besides Tamil, Madharaasi will also be released in Telugu, Kannada and Hindi on September 5. The Hindi version of the film has been titled Dil Madharaasi.

Meanwhile Sai Abhyankkar has a strong line-up of projects with A-listers across the South Indian industry: Raghava Lawrence's Benz, Suriya's Karuppu, Silambarasan's STR 49, Pradeep Ranganathan's Dude, Atlee's AA22xA6, Shane Nigam's Balti and Karthi's Marshal.
