On Sunday, the makers of Vivek Prasanna's Ring Ring announced that the film will be hitting theatres on January 31. The film is helmed by Sakthivel, who has previously made EGO and Kandhakottai.

The recently released trailer of the film shows a group of friends catching up with their respective partners at a get-together. As a game, Vivek Prasanna asks everybody to share all the messages and calls received on their respective phones. As secrets come out, the game starts affecting their relationship. The trailer hints that the film might resemble Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein.

Apart from Vivek Prasanna, Ring Ring also stars Sakshi Agarwal, Daniel Annie Pope, Praveen, Arjunan, Swayam Siddha, Sahana, and Jamuna. Ring Ring was filmed entirely on a huge set in Chennai's ECR. The makers say the film has both humorous and mysterious elements in it.

Ring Ring's technical crew comprises cinematographer Prasad, music composer Vasanth, art director Dinesh, editor PK, and lyricist P Hariharan. The film is produced by Jegan Narayanan and Shakthivel under Diya Cine Creations and Rule Breakers Productions.
