The much-awaited trailer of Manikandan's Kudumbasthan has been released by the makers. The comedy film gearing up for a release on January 24 is directed by Rajeshwar Kalisamy, who is better known by his YouTube channel Nakkalites.

The 2.15-minute-long trailer promises to be a laugh riot while also highlighting the issues of middle-class people struggling to make ends meet. In the trailer, we see Manikandan's character getting married to the love of his life even as his parents oppose the wedding. Thereafter, the couple, who are awaiting the birth of their child, find themselves in a debt trap with mounting responsibilities and financial stress.

The film also stars actor Saanve Megghana as the female lead and Guru Somasundaram in a prominent role. R Sundarrajan, Prasanna Balachandran, and Jenson Dhivakar play supporting characters.

Backed by S Vinothkumar's Cinemaakaran banner, the film's technical team consists of cinematographer Sujith Subramaniam, editor Kannan, and music composer Vaisagh.

Kudumbasthan will release along with Guru Somasundaram-led Bottle Radha, written and directed by debutant Dhinakaran Sivalingam.
