Atharvaa's Address gets release date

The film, written and directed by Rajamohan, stars Barath Esakki in the lead role

Actor Atharvaa's Address, which wrapped production back in 2021, finally has a release date. The film, written and directed by Rajamohan, is all set to hit theatres on March 7.

Esakki Barath plays the lead role in Address. The story of the film is reportedly set in a town without an address. Based on real life, the film chronicles the struggles of a village on the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border that was left without an address in 1956 when India's state boundaries were formed on the basis of language.

Atharvaa will feature in an extended cameo as Kaali, a rebel. He is paired opposite Pooja Jhaveri in the film. Address also stars Dhiya, Thambi Ramaiah, Devadarshini, A Venkatesh, Madras Nandakumar, Nagendran, Goli Soda Muthu, and others.

The technical crew of Address comprises music composer Girish Gopalakrishnan, cinematographers Krishnakumar Venkatasamy and Srinivas Dayanidhi, and editor Tamil Arasan. The film is produced by Ajey Krishna and co-produced by G Pradeep Kumar, M Absha Mydeen, K Arul Selvan, Venkatesh Venugopal, and A M Jayaram.
