After a long wait, Vishnu Vardhan's Nesippaya finally has a release date. Starring Akash Murali and Aditi Shankar in lead roles, the film is releasing during the festive occasion of Pongal on January 14.

Apart from the leads, Akash Murali and Aditi Shankar, R Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Khushbu Sundar, Raja, Kalki Koechlin, and Shiv Panditt are part of the star cast.

A teaser that was released a few months back revealed that Akash plays Arjun while Aditi plays Diya. The two seem to fall in love despite differences. However, a conflict separates Diya from Arjun, as the latter seems to take the help of Kalki Koechlin, a lawyer, to save the former.

Nesippaya, which marks the director's tenth film, is backed by Xavier Britto of XB Film Creators, who previously made Vijay's Master in 2021.

The technical crew of Nesippaya comprises music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematographers Om Prakash and Cameron Bryson, along with editor Sreekar Prasad, production designer Saravanan Vasanth, and lyricist Pa Vijay. Romeo Pictures has acquired the distribution rights of the film in Tamil Nadu.

Upon release, the film is set to clash with Jayam Ravi-Nithya Menen's Kadhalikka Neramillai in theatres.
