Ravi Mohan, who is currently busy with the post-production work of Karathey Babu and awaiting the release of Parasakthi, in which he plays the antagonist, was recently seen sharing the stage with Kantara: Chapter 1 director Rishab Shetty. The two, seen in the recent Behindwoods event, spoke about a possible collaboration, while the former particularly praised the latter's shot divisions.

He said, "When I was a film student, we were shown certain films to analyse and understand strong shot divisions. After that, it is only in Rishab sir’s films that I have consistently seen such brilliant shot choices. As a film student, I notice these details without fail. I do not need to specifically speak about his performance; the awards and reviews speak for themselves. He is a fine example of how sincerity in intent and consistent effort inevitably lead to success. I am also directing a film, and his body of work continues to inspire me."

Ravi Mohan was then asked if he was interested in collaborating with Rishab, to which he shared, "If he says yes now, I will get to work immediately. At the moment, Rishab seems to be on a very disciplined path, and I believe I am on a parallel path with my own sense of discipline. There will come a time when these two paths intersect, and I will be happy whenever that happens. When it does, I am confident it will result in a meaningful collaboration. Like anyone else, I would love to produce and direct a film with him in the lead."

Further, when Rishab was asked about a possible collaboration, he added, "I am also more than open to working with Ravi Mohan sir, provided he offers me a strong character. I do not think too much about a film’s prospects; if the character is well written and compelling, I am happy to be a part of it."

Currently basking in the success of Kantara: Chapter 1, Rishab Shetty has Jai Hanuman and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the pipeline on the acting front. Meanwhile, he is also set to develop another Kantara film, details of which are undisclosed.

Ravi Mohan, on the other hand, has Parasakthi hitting theatres on January 10. He recently commenced dubbing for Karathey Babu, his political drama with Ganesh K Babu. He awaits the release of the long-delayed Genie and is also working on Bro Code, which marks his debut production under the Ravi Mohan Studios banner. Parallelly, he is also directing An Ordinary Man starring Yogi Babu in the lead role.
