On Tuesday, the makers of Vikram Prabhu's Sirai unveiled the second single from the film, titled 'Minnu Vattaam Poochi'. Composed by Justin Prabhakaran, the romantic melody is crooned by Yuvan Shankar Raja alongside Padmaja Sreenivasan. The song's verses are penned by Karthik Netha.

Previously, the makers of the film unveiled the first single from the film, titled 'Mannichiru'. The track is sung by D Sathya Prakash and Aanandi Joshi, whose voices bring out the tenderness in the apology-driven love song. The composer also penned the lyrics for this song.

Sirai's story is by Tamizh, the director of Taanakkaran. Sirai marks a reunion for Tamizh and Vikram Prabhu after Taanakkaran, which was Tamizh's directorial debut and, coincidentally, another film based on the police. The film is also the directorial debut for Suresh Rajakumari. He has written the screenplay of the film along with Tamizh.

SS Lalit Kumar is producing Sirai under his 7 Screen Studios banner. LK Vishnu Kumar is serving as the co-producer for the film, with Arun K and Manikandan serving as the executive producers and Arosam serving as the creative producer.

In the lead role, the film also stars LK Akshay Kumar, who is producer SS Lalit Kumar's son. The rest of the cast includes Anishma Anilkumar, making her Tamil debut, and Anantha. The rest of the crew of the film consists of Madhesh Manickam as the director of photography, Philomin Raj as the editor, and Raghava Sanjivi as the production designer.

The film is gearing up to hit theatres on December 25. It will release alongside Arun Vijay's Retta Thala.
