Dhanush and Vignesh Raja visit Nellaiyappar Temple

Dhanush is considered an ardent Lord Shiva devotee

Earlier today, actor Dhanush visited the Nellaiyappar Temple alongside his upcoming 54th film's director Vignesh Raja. The actor also posed for pictures with those who work at the famous temple located in Tirunelveli. The primary deities at the temple are Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Dhanush is considered an ardent Lord Shiva devotee. Reportedly, the actor named his sons, Yatra and Linga, after considering his devotion for Lord Shiva. Further, according to reports, Aanand L Rai planned to shoot Raanjhanaa's opening scene with Dhanush on Maha Shivratri in Varanasi, although he could not do so due to the excessive crowd.

As mentioned above, the actor is currently in production for a film with the Por Thozhil filmmaker, tentatively titled D54. It stars Premalu and Dude actor Mamitha Baiju in an important role as well.

D54, which is being produced by Ishari K Ganesh of the Vels Film International banner, stars Suraj Venjaramoodu, KS Ravikumar, Jayaram, Karunas, Nithin Sathya, and Prithvi Pandiarajan as well. The makers are yet to disclose any details about the film's plot, but it is reportedly an action film with drama and thriller elements. The film's technical team includes composer GV Prakash Kumar, cinematographer Theni Eswar, and editor Sreejith Sarang.
