Actor Ajith Kumar has been focusing on his career as a car racing driver over the last few months. Before his recent race in the 24H Series, Ajith thanked his fans for showing up for his races and talked about how he cuts out all the noise and attention while doing what he does on the track. Ajith said that he treats it similar to shooting a film on set. "We have a lot of fans around, so we need to learn to switch on and switch off. I have probably been doing it for the last 33 years," the actor said. At the same time, he stated that he works with some of "the best professionals" who guide him, including a mental coach and a driving coach, to help confirm that he can maintain complete focus while racing.

Interestingly, the actor also wears a fire-protection suit for his races that contains the text "Indian cinema. Lights, camera, action."

Earlier, a commentator expressed his surprise at the large number of fans who turn up for races which the actor participates in for his Ajith Kumar Racing team.

Ajith Kumar is expected to come back to Tamil cinema and reunite with his Good Bad Ugly director Adhik Ravichandran soon. Recently, he also expressed his desire to do a film such as F1 in his home turf.
