It's 2040. Rajinikanth is doing his 189th film. Yash is a part of the Mission: Impossible franchise. A new relationship term has been introduced: evolutionship. This is the world that Vignesh Shivan has carefully built in Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), a glimpse of which was unveiled on Tuesday.

Pradeep Ranganathan plays a man who still believes in love at first sight and pure love in a world where relationships have become even more casual and complicated. SJ Suryah is the owner of the titular company, which seems to prohibit two individuals from pursuing a genuine love relationship. The woman he falls in love with is Krithi Shetty. The teaser of LIK promises a fun and quirky take on modern relationships.

Vignesh Shivan is also producing the film along with Nayanthara under the Rowdy Pictures banner. Along with producing Love Insurance Kompany under his Seven Screen Studio banner, SS Lalit Kumar is also presenting the film.

Actor-politician Seeman is also part of the cast along with Gouri G Kishan, Yogi Babu, and Shah Rah. Anirudh is composing the music for the film, continuing his collaboration with Vignesh after Naanum Rowdy Dhan, Thaana Serndha Kootam, and Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. The first single from the film, 'Dheema', was released last year, with Anirudh's vocals and Vignesh's lyrics.

The rest of the crew of the film includes Ravi Varman as the cinematographer, Pradeep E Ragav as the editor, T Muthuraj as the production designer, and Peter Hein handling stunts.

LIK is all set to hit theatres on October 17, a few days before Deepavali.
