In a media interaction, actor Harish Kalyan shared his delight at his film Parking's National Award wins, including Best Tamil Film, Best Screenplay, and Best Supporting Actor for his co-star MS Bhaskar. The film, which was a commercial and critical success following its December 2023 release, centres on an escalating ego clash between a tenant (Kalyan) and his landlord (Bhaskar) over a car parking space.

Harish expressed his confidence in the film's screenplay from the very beginning. "When I read the script itself, I had the belief that the audience would be able to connect to it," he said. He specifically thanked director Ramkumar Balakrishnan for the treatment he provided to Parking, full of twists and turns. He called the Best Screenplay award the "highest recognition for the film's screenplay."

Harish also took the opportunity to praise his co-star, MS Bhaskar, who shared the Best Supporting Actor award with Vijayaraghavan for his performance in Pookkaalam. "We call him 'Nadippu Arakkan' (Acting Demon) lovingly," Harish shared. He believed that the award is a culmination of Bhaskar's "full body of work," spanning numerous comedic and villainous roles throughout his career. "I am a big fan of his, and I consider it a privilege to have been able to act alongside him," Harish added. The actor has also extended his gratitude and congratulated all the cast and crew involved in the film.

He thanked producers Sudhan Sundaram of Passion Studios and KS Sinish of Soldiers Factory, noting that Sinish was the first to bring the script to him.

Parking also stars Indhuja Ravichandran, Prathana Nathan, Ilavarasu, Rama, and Vetrivel Raja.
