Actor and politician Khushbu Sundar has revealed that her official X (formerly Twitter) account was hacked, and in a disturbing turn of events, she also received a WhatsApp message from the hacker confirming the breach.

On Saturday, Khushbu shared a screenshot of the message sent to her team, which read: “Hi Kushbu. I hacked your Twitter account, but I don’t think your account will be of any use to us.” Tagging the Tamil Nadu Cyber Crime department, she urged authorities to take immediate action. “My office received this message from the hackers. This is the number of the hackers hidden in the UK. @tncybercrimeoff is requested to take an action immediately,” she wrote in her Instagram story.

The incident came to light earlier in the day when Khushbu posted on Instagram that she had lost access to her X account. “Hi friends, my #TWITTER @khushsundar account is hacked. I am not able to log in, and it’s not accepting my ID or password. I am blocked out. Any news, updates, posts, or any activity on my Twitter page is not done by me in the last 9 hours,” she informed. “Trying to sort this out. Kindly bear with me and keep me posted if you see any kind of activity on my TWITTER page. See you soon on Twitter. Till then, I am here.” (sic)

Hours later, she posted another update with a screenshot showing cryptocurrency-related tweets being shared from her compromised account. “Hackers have been using my X account for cryptocurrency. I have nothing to do with these, and I do not support it. Hope @tncybercrimeoff looks into this immediately,” she added.

Khushbu joins a growing list of celebrities who have recently fallen victim to social media hacks. Just days ago, Lakshmi Manchu reported her Instagram account had been compromised and warned followers not to respond to messages asking for money. Other public figures, including Jaaved Jaaferi, Trisha Krishnan, and Tanmay Bhat, have also reported similar cyber intrusions.
