Autograph, both a critical and a commercial success, went on to win three National Awards under the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment, Best Female Playback Singer, and Best Lyrics categories.

Produced by Dream Theatres, the film had cinematography by Ravi Varman, Vijay Milton, Dwarakanath, and Shanky Mahendran; editing by S Sathesh and J N Harsha; songs by Bharadwaj; and a background score by Sabesh-Murali. Autograph initially hit theatres on February 20, 2004.
