The makers of actor Manikandan's next with the Nakkalites fame Rajeshwar Kalisamy has been titled Kudumbasthan.

The title and first look of the film were unveiled on Saturday. The first-look poster of the film is a telltale, where Manikandan is seen shouldering every domestic responsibility of a middle-class youngster.

Billed as a family entertainer, the film stars Telugu actor Saanve Megghana as the female lead in her Tamil debut. Guru Somasundaram also stars in a prominent role in the upcoming film.

In a previous conversation with CE, the director shared, "Adventure-driven stories are mostly used in the action or thriller genres. I want to explore it as a family entertainer with a middle-class youngster at the centre of things. While Good Night was more of a drama, this film will be a comedy-adventure film. Also, this film is entirely set in Coimbatore and will cater to the sensibilities and expectations of our Nakkalites audience."

Backed by S Vinothkumar's Cinemaakaran banner, the project comprises a technical team of cinematographer Sujith Subramaniam, editor Kannan, and music composer Vaisagh.
