The latest in the series of character announcements in Vikram Rajeshwar-Arun Keshav's Chennai City Gangsters, the poster and character name of Rajendran have been revealed on Thursday.

The comedian will play Memory Dass in the film. Earlier, it was announced that Vaibhav will play Pandi, Athulya Ravi as Jenny, and Anand Raj as Split Soosai.

Apart from Vaibhav and Athulya, Chennai City Gangsters also stars Anandraj, Rajendran, John Vijay, Redin Kingsley, Sunil Reddy, Ilavarasu, PL Thenappan and others in supporting roles.

Interestingly, Chennai City Gangsters will mark the first time brothers Vaibhav and Sunil will be sharing screen space.

The technical crew consists of D Imman scoring the music, while Tijo Tomy and Suresh A Prasad have been roped in as the cinematographer and editor, respectively. Arun Shankar Durai is doing the art direction, and stunts are handled by Don Ashok. The film is backed by Bobby Balachandran under his home banner, BTG Universal. A release date is yet to be revealed by the makers.
