Second look of Rio Raj's Sweetheart! out

The second look of Rio Raj's upcoming film Sweetheart! has been released by actor-director Pradeep Ranganathan. Sharing the poster, Pradeep wrote, "Expecting another modern Kaadhal Kaaviyam from Yuvan Shankar Raja production." Written and directed by Swineeth S Sukumar, the film also stars Gopika Ramesh in the lead.

The first look poster, which was released on Wednesday, featured a happy Rio carrying an elated Gopika on his back, giving her a piggyback ride. The two are seen in front of a giant Ferris wheel. The film is described by the makers, to be an 'entertaining tale' with a 'rollercoaster of emotions and unforgettable moments'.

Redin Kingsley, Renji Panicker, Arunachaleswaran Pa, Tulasi, Fouziee, Arulnithi Sasikumar and Suresh Chakravarthy round out the supporting cast of Sweetheart!. The film is backed by Yuvan Shankar Raja under his YSR Films banner. Sweetheart! will be his fourth production venture, after Pyaar Prema Kaadhal (2018), Maamanithan (2022), and the digitally released Pon Ondru Kanden (2024).

Yuvan is also the music composer for Sweetheart! which has cinematography by  Balaji Subramanyam, editing by Tamil Arasan, and art direction by Siva Sankar.

Having wrapped filming, Sweetheart is currently in the post-production stage. Details about the film's plot and release date are yet to be announced by the makers.
