After a long wait, the makers of Soodhu Kavvum 2: Naadum Naatu Makkalum have announced that the film starring Shiva in the lead role is all set to hit theatres this December. Sharing the news with a motion poster, the producer wrote, "The gang is set to kidnap you all to theatres on this December. Soodhu Kavvum 2 lands worldwide with double the twists, double the laughs."

Soodhu Kavvum 2 is written and directed by SJ Arjun. It also stars Harisha, Radha Ravi, MS Bhaskar, Karate Karthi, Ramesh Thilak, Aruldoss, Kalki, and Kavi. The film has a story penned by SJ Arjun and T Yogaraja.

It is the sequel to the 2013 black comedy crime film directed by Nalan Kumarasamy, starring Vijay Sethupathi, Bobby Simha, Ashok Selvan, Ramesh Thilak, Karunakaran and Sanchita Shetty in the lead roles.

Apart from music composer Edwin Louis Viswanath, the film's technical crew includes cinematographer Karthik K Thillai and editor Ignatious Aswin. The film is backed by CV Kumar of Thirukumaran Entertainment and S Thangaraj of Thangam Cinemas.
