The makers of Ashok Selvan's Emakku Thozhil Romance unveiled the second single, 'Vaada Poda' from the film on Monday. Composed, arranged and produced by Nivas K Prasanna, the song is also crooned by him along with Vaishali. Mohan Rajan has penned the lyrics for this romantic melody featuring Ashok and the female lead Avantika Mishra. 

Written and directed by debutant Balaji Kesavan, Emakku Thozhil Romance also stars Urvashi, Azhagam Perumal, Bhagavathi Perumal, MS Bhaskar, Vijay Varadaraj, and Badava Gopi in key supporting roles. The film's female lead, Avanthika Mishra, has predominantly worked in Telugu films. She made her Tamil debut with Enna Solla Pogirai and also starred in D Block.

With music by Nivas K Prasanna, Emakku Thozhil Romance will also feature cinematography by Ganesh Chandra, and editing by Jerome Allen. Emakku Thozhil Romance is backed by M Thirumalai of T Creations. The shooting for the rom-com has been completed, and the film is currently in the post-production stage and a release date is yet to be announced.
