The makers of Emakku Thozhil Romance, starring Ashok Selvan in the lead role, dropped the trailer of the film earlier today. It hints at a colorful romantic comedy about a young man (Ashok) who wants to make a film about a love story while ensuring that his own love life does not suffer. Avantika Mishra plays the female lead opposite Ashok Selvan in the film. Written and directed by Balaji Kesavan, it also stars Urvasi, Azhagam Perumal, MS Bhaskar, Bagavathi Perumal, Vijay Varadaraj, Badava Gopi, among others. This is Balaji's sophomore directorial; his first Tughlaq Durbar stars Vijay Sethupathi in the lead.

The film has cinematography by Ganesh Chandra, edting by I Jerome Alen, lyrics by Mohan Rajan, and music by Nivas K Prasanna. It is produced by M Thirumalai. The makers are yet to announce a release date for the film.
