Anupama Parameswaran to star in AR Jeeva's Lockdown

Actor Anupama Parameswaran will once again get busy in Tamil cinema, as she will star opposite Dhruv Vikram in Bison Kaalamaadan, and is also expected to play the lead in AR Jeeva's Lockdown.

Announcement of Lockdown was made by the makers with a first look poster of Anupama, who is seen screaming.

The film directed by debutant AR Jeeva, will be bankrolled by Lyca Productions' Subaskaran. Lockdown has music by NR Raghunanthan and Siddharth Vipin, cinematography by KA Sakthivel, edits by VJ Sabu Joseph, and art direction by A Jayakumar.

Anupama was last seen playing Lilly Joseph in Tillu Square, directed by Mallik Ram. Apart from Lockdown and Bison Kaalamaadan, she has JSK Truth Shall Always Prevail and Paradha.

Title of her sports drama, Bison Kaalamaadan, was unveiled today. The film directed by Mari Selvaraj, is backed by Pa Ranjith's Neelam Productions and Applause Entertainment.

Billed as a sports drama, Bison is based on the real-life story of the Kabaddi Player Manathi Ganesan, who is also an Arjuna Awardee. While Dhruv will be seen as Ganesan, Anupama Parameswaran plays a significant role in the film.

Besides Dhruv and Anupama, Bison also stars Lal, Pasupathy Masilamani, Rajisha Vijayan, Hari Krishnan, Azhagam Perumal, Aruvi Madhanand Kalaiyarasan, among others.

The film's technical team comprises music composer Nivas K Prasanna, editor Sakthi Thiru, and cinematographer Ezhil Arasu.
