Couple of days after the launch of director Nelson Dilipkumar's production banner Filament Productions, the first project of the company has been titled Bloody Beggar.

The film will star Kavin and Redin Kingsley with the rest of the cast members undisclosed. Bloody Beggar, where Kavin plays the titular character, is helmed by debutant Sivabalan Muthukumar.

Known for his whacky announcement videos, Nelson officially launched Bloody Beggar with a funny video showing Kavin in a look test for the movie. The film's first look poster was unveiled in the video.

The technical crew includes music director Jen Martin, cinematographer Sujith Sarang, editor Nirmal, and stunt directors Action Sandhosh and Metro Mahesh.

Meanwhile, Kavin is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Star, directed by Elan. The film also stars Lal, Aaditi Pohankar, and Preity Mukhundhan.

Star is slated for a worldwide release on May 10.
