Previously, we reported that Manikandan has joined hands with Nakkalites-fame Rajeshwar Kalisamy for his next. On Saturday, the makers of the film announced that the shooting has been wrapped. A family entertainer, the yet-to-be-titled film marks the feature directorial debut of Rajeshwar.

The film stars Telugu actor Saanve Megghana as the female lead, in her Tamil debut. Guru Somasundaram also stars in a prominent role in the upcoming film.

In a previous conversation with CE, the director shared, "Adventure-driven stories are mostly used in the action or thriller genres. I want to explore it as a family entertainer with a middle-class youngster at the centre of things. While Good Night was more of a drama, this film will be a comedy-adventure film. Also, this film is entirely set in Coimbatore, and will cater to the sensibilities and expectations of our Nakkalites audience."

Backed by S Vinothkumar's Cinemaakaran banner, the project comprises a technical team of cinematographer Sujith Subramaniam, editor Kannan, and music composer Vaisagh.
