On Tuesday, Santhosh Narayanan took to his official X handle with a video, on the occasion of 3 years of 'Enjoy Enjaami', revealing that the artists and himself are yet to be remunerated by the label, Maajja, for their work on the song. It is to be noted that the record label is founded by veteran musician, AR Rahman.

As a follow-up to the video, today, Santhosh further posted a long note on his official X handle, calling AR Rahman his pillar of support, and thanking him for his help with the issue. He wrote, "My dearest

AR Rahman sir has always been a pillar of support without any expectations through the entire Maajja fiasco and he is also a victim of many false promises and malice. Thank you, sir."

Further, the music director went on to request public support for Indie artists. "Many indie artists including Arivu, Svdp, Dhee and many others including myself have also never been remitted our revenues in any form and have been bullied with emails. I understand that emotions are high and would urge you all to support the indie artists at this juncture."

Santhosh concluded the statement by writing, " I will definitely triple-click on the entire episode with my mentor Pa Ranjith and rapper Arivu in the coming days and as many of you know, I wish the best for them with love and want to make sure all indie artists get their fare dues met soon. Here we come."

On the work front, Santhosh recently composed music for films like Anweshippin Kandethum, Jigarthanda Double X and Saindhav. He currently has Kalki 2898 AD, Vaazhai and Andhagan in the pipeline.
