Narkarappor Trailer: Talent knows no boundaries of caste

Starring Abarnathi and Lingesh in the lead, the film is written and directed by Shree Vettri

The trailer for the upcoming film Narkarappor, starring Lingesh and Abarnathi in lead roles, was unveiled on Tuesday. The film is written and directed by Shree Vettri and produced by Velayutham S. 

The trailer shows Abarnathi as a sanitation worker, whose son is belittled and often not allowed to enter school and other premises because of his caste identity. However, things change when his talent in chess transcends the boundaries of caste and community. 

Suresh Menon, Aswin, Tamilarasi, and Anbu round out the cast of Narkarappor. The film's technical crew comprises music composer Dinesh Antony, cinematographers Arjun Ravi and Gnanasekar R S, and editor Ranjeet CK. 

A release date for Narkarappor is yet to be announced by the makers.
