Director Vaali Mohan Das' Madraskaaran garnered much hype right from its announcement as the film marks Malayalam actor Shane Nigam's Tamil debut.

The makers of the film announced on Thursday that the second single will be a remix of the evergreen romantic track from Alaipayuthey, 'Kadhal Sadugudu'. The AR Rahman-Maniratnam classic will be back with a 'fresh twist', the makers said. The number will be dropped on December 7.

The first single from Madraskaaran, 'Thai Thakka Kalyanam' was released in September.

Madraskaaran also stars Niharika Konidela, Aishwarya Dutta, Karunas, and Pandiarajan. In an earlier interview with CE, writer-director Vaali said that the film revolves around the consequences of an ego clash between two people and that it centres on the idea of "how a negligible incident completely changes a person's life."

Madraskaaran is touted as an action thriller along the lines of Prithviraj Sukumaran's Ayyappanum Koshiyum and Driving Licence, as well as Shane's own Ishq. It is produced by B Jagadish through SR Productions. It has cinematography by Prasanna S Kumar, editing by R Vasanthakumar, and music by Sam CS.

The makers are yet to announce a release date for the film.
